Blue Moon, Super Moon, and Total Eclipse

January 30 brought us a Blue Moon and a Super Moon.  The Blue Moon is called that because it’s the second full moon in a month.  And it’s a Super Moon because it’s close to the earth and looks larger than it normally does.  On January 31 we’re treated to a total eclipse of the moon.  The Western US will have the best view but the Midwest should be able to see a partial eclipse.  You can see NASA’s video if you aren’t up at 4:30am, there’s too much cloud cover, or it’s not a good viewing area.  Source: Express
