I think Lady Gaga is trying to steal some of Madonnas' thunder with the tease of a 450 day tour! She posted on Facebook "Looking forward to seeing the Superbowl! There is a college course being offered at Georgetown University covering her husband Jay-Z's music and career....really and now Rutgers University is offering a course about Beyonce! It is being used to explore American race, gender and sexual politics. Some of the topics that will be covered include whether her racy performances are empowering or stereotypical and also the extent of Beyonce's control over her own aesthetic and her alter ego, Sasha Fierce. I am not sure what career this could be applied too...thoughts?

CBS yesterday announced the 18 new castaways that will compete on the 24th edition of Survivor, this season titled Survivor: One World. Gone this time is the controversial Redemption Island, but in a new twist, for the first time the two tribes, which will be men (Manono Tribe) vs. women (Salani Tribe), will live together at the same camp. As for the competitors, this season will feature the show's first little person, 34-year-old Leif Manson, with the oldest competitor being 64-year-old Houston plastic surgeon Greg Smith, and the youngest being 21-year-old college student Colton Cumbie.

Rumors of relationship trouble between Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis just won't go away. Earlier this month Radaronline reported that Depp was considering leaving the mother of his two children, and now People has chimed in on the rumor. In this week's cover story, the magazine reports that the pair, who has been together for 14 years, is rarely in the same city at same time, and they are all but officially over.

It sounds like Mark Wahlberg is having a hard time distinguishing between fantasy and real-life. In an interview with Men's Journal, the action star says he was scheduled to be on the doomed September 11th flight from Boston to Los Angeles, but wound up leaving a week earlier. Still, Wahlberg believes that had he been on the flight, he would have been able to stop the attack on the World Trade Center. ?If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn?t have went down like it did," he told the mag. "There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ?OK, we?re going to land somewhere safely, don?t worry.?? The comment has outraged Deena Burnett-Bailey, whose husband Thomas Burnett died on United 93, but not before rushing the cockpit. Deena calls Mark's comments "disrespectful," telling TMZ, "Does Mark Wahlberg have a pilots' license? Then I think hindsight is 20/20 and it's insignificant to say what you would have done if you weren't there. " Wahlberg yesterday apologized for the comments. "To suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible," he told TMZ. "To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with. I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention."

Adele has been spotted smoking even though she promised herself and fans that she would quit after having a benign polyp removed from her vocal cords at the end of last year. Adele acknowledged that becoming a non-smoker was better for her voice, but she's fallen off the wagon and was seen smoking after dinner at Bobby Rubino's in Florida.

She was there with her new boyfriend Simon Konecki ... who we've now recently learned is married, but separated. By the way, Simon also reportedly has a 5-year-old daughter. Smoking is strictly a no-no after throat surgery and could delay her healing, causing her to cancel more concerts if she doesn't take care of her health and quit smoking.
