With more and more rumors circulating about who will replace Simon Cowell, another name has surfaced... Jessica Simpson. Sources tell Entertainment Weekly that Simpson has been talking with Idol Exec's. More rumors are out saying that the rumors regarding the replacement will end as early as August 2nd. Apparently Idol exec's are waiting til Fox's 2010 Television Critic Association Press Tour Day to make the announcement. Find out more about Idol here.

Carrie Underwood's husband Mike Fisher said in an interview with the Ottawa Sun, that they "obviously want kids, but that is down the road. ... We don't know exactly when, but definitely we will." The two were married on July 10th, and Mike says "It's awesome... I'm with my best friend and I love her to death. There is nothing better, for sure." Two couple will most likely be settling in Nashville.

Since Simon Cowell left as a judge on American Idol there have been many rumors circulating on who will fill his spot. Two people that can be crossed off the list is Justin Timberlake and Elton John. Both have reportedly received offers to be the next judge, but both said no. According to deadline.com Justin is focusing on his film career and doesn't have time for a full time TV show. Elton John's reps say that he is already booked til next year.

So that still leaves the question... Who will be the next judge? Chances are we will find out by September.

Just off shore by New Orleans a barge ran into an abandoned well at about 1am this morning. The crash sent water, natural gas and oil shooting 100 feet in the air. Luckily it is a very small leak compared to the BP spill, and there is already a crew in place capping the well and cleaning the mess. This leak was in an area that was already effected by the BP spill.

Last Friday night The Kings of Leon were set to play their concert in St. Louis at the outdoor Verizon Amphitheater. But when they started to play they spooked a bunch of pigeons that were nesting in the overhead rafters. The birds would circle above them, dropping poo bombs. The band tried to stick it out but after being hit in the face, the band called it quits.

After the deaths of both Brittney Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack officials are investigating to see if their house had a mold problem. Brittney who passed away in December and her husband who passed 5 months later, both had pneumonia and anemia listed as their cause of death. Medical examiners say mold could have caused respiratory issues. They finally have permission from Brittney's mother to inspect the house.

This weekend I'm hanging with the crew from CC106.3 up at Country Jam in Eau Claire. It rained most of the day yesterday but it was still a blast. I got to meet Jake Owen and Jason Aldean back stage! According to the Associated Press, Porky Pig took quit a beating at 6 Flags Great America in Gurnee Illinois. Here is the funny part, they guys that threw the punches work at the theme park! Porky Pig is really a female employee and the two guys that jumped her were off-duty employees. Her day started with the guys posing for a picture with her, then they attacked.... They punched her in the mascot head 10-15 times. Police were called and issued the guys citations for battery. The female suffered a headache and stiff neck... No word yet on the condition of Porky Pig.

Sentenced to 90 days in jail, Lindsay Lohan has turned herself in to serve her jail time. Her cell will be kept separate from the general population, it is furnished with bunk beds, a toilet, sink, small table and a 6 inch window. She will be allowed to shower every other day, exercise 3 times a week and will receive 2 cold and 1 hot meal a day. It actually sounds like she is getting a fairly true jail experience... that is until the LA Sheriffs dept said that even though she is sentenced to 90 days, she will only serve about 14.
