Welcome to the Magic 105 Pet Corner

Shamus OReilly is a domestic short hair grey Tiger.  He is approximately 2 years of age.  While at the Humane Society, he has been neutered and vaccinated for both distemper and rabies.  Shamus came to us shortly before St. Patricks Day, hence the name.  Since he has been with us for over two months, he is now considered a long term cat and because of this, his adoption fee has been reduced to $50.

Shamus is an absolute sweetheart whose heart is so big he has room to love many!  When he arrived at the Humane Society, he had a bit of an injury on his backthe staff have administered medicine donated by a local veterinarian and he is doing so much better.  Shamus OReilly is a cat that enjoys being around people.  He enjoys cuddling, playing, and simply lounging around.  He is the type of cat who can be social, but also independent and not too needy.  He should do well with other cats and he may even do well with dogs.  If his new home will have other feline and canine friends, they should be introduced slowly so everyone does not feel overwhelmed and threatened.  Also, Shamus should fit well into any family, as he is a cat who should do well with children or without and if children will be a part of his family, he should do well with children of any age.  Come visit Shamus OReilly and all the animals available for adoption at Coulee Region Humane Society on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday between 1pm5pm, or on Tuesday and Thursday between 1pm7pm.

Zander is a 2 year old neutered male black Labrador who is current on all of his vaccinations.  He is quite the handsome, charming young man.  He is a cuddly guy who at the same time can be a goofball.  He can be silly, easily distracted by life going on around him, and can bring smiles to almost everyone with his antics.  However, he needs a leader who can find balance with allowing him to be himself and acting like the young adult he is.  He demonstrated himself to be an escape artist in his previous home, easily climbing a 6 foot fence.  Because of this, we recommend that he be walked on leash or supervised while on a tie out or fenced in yard.  Also, our staff can provide ideas that may alleviate his tendency to want to escape over a fence.  Zander is a ladies man.he seems to have much better relationships with female dogs.  Since he is a big goofy boy who is still learning to take treats nicely, we recommend children above the age of 5 if children will be a part of his home.  Visit Zander or one of the many other animals available for adoption at Coulee Region Humane Society on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday between 1pm5pm, or on Tuesday and Thursday between 1pm7pm.

Tami is a short hair grey tiger with beautiful gold eyes. Tami really enjoys being around people. She loves being showered with attention and does not have a mean bone in her body. She seems to get along well with other pets, and would do fine with them given proper introduction.

La Crescent Animal Rescue has a Yellow Labrador Retriever who desperately is in need of a new home.  He will be moving to the outside kennel in the next few days where he will be exposed to the elements.  He will be alone and checked on from time to time.  There are no foster homes for him.  He is a happy-go-lucky 8 (approximately) year old who would love to make new friends in a loving home.  If you would be interested, or you know someone who would be interested in making friends with Buster, please call La Crescent Animal rescue and save Buster!  Buster really is a good boy.
