Imagine taking one of the most exhaustive tests of your high school career, only to find out it was lost in the mail and you’ll have to retake it.
125 students at University High School in Los Angeles are currently living in this nightmare.
“It is very rare that a package doesn’t make it to ACT eventually,” said ACT spokesman Ed Colby, “We are working with the test center supervisor and the carrier (FedEx) to attempt to locate the package.”
It’s a major hassle for the students who now have to retake the test. They will take the test for free, and be refunded for the misplaced tests.
According to Colby, if the old tests are rediscovered, students will be able to select the higher score to use for their college applications.
